There are three simple ways to check the status of your Foster Child Grant:1. Online via SASSA’s Website
- Go to the official SASSA grants page.
- Log in using your ID number.
- Select the “Check Payment Status” section.
- You’ll see payment dates, the amount, and how the funds will be paid.
2. Via WhatsApp

- Send a message saying “Status” followed by your ID number.
- You will receive your grant information in an automated reply.
3. Visit a SASSA Office or Pay Point
